Blue Iggy Design on Today Show |

 Well Blue Iggy made the BIG time, one of our T-shirt Designs attracted the attention of the Today show. Let me take you back to the beginning. It all started when a group of ladies from the local college contracted us to make some shirts for them, as they where going to New York and were going to go stand outside the Today show with the throngs of other viewers. Their request...they wanted to get noticed. Well, you tell Blue Iggy you want to get noticed, and you will get noticed, one way or another. You see, we ended up designing a shirt and printing it on a t-shirt color aptly named Cyber-Pink.

Considerations When Choosing a Design Firm |
|
Every medium has its own predefined set of rules that an artist must know to be able to properly use the medium to its full potential. Artistic talent is good, but artistic talent in a particular medium is much, much better. Think of it this way, if you hire a talented artist to create a newspaper advertisement, who primarily works with silkscreen designs, you will most likely get a newspaper ad that is not only ineffective but would probably have looked better on a t-shirt. Simply because the rules of the mediums are different. This is somewhat of a catch 22 for the artist... |
